St. Tammany Parish Man, 19, Booked On First Degree Rape Charge

A 19 year old St. Tammany Parish man has been booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on a serious felony charge.

According to jail records, Slayde Taylor was booked by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 7, 2026, on a charge of First Degree Rape involving a victim under 13 years old.

Records show Taylor’s bond was set at $750,000 cash, property, or surety.
