St. Tammany Parish Man, 22, Booked On First Degree Rape Charge

A 22 year old man is behind bars after being booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on a charge of first degree rape involving a victim under the age of 13, according to jail records.

Jail records show Jacob McDonald was booked by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 6, 2026. His bond status is currently listed as “to be set by judge.”

First degree rape involving a victim under 13 years old is considered one of the most serious felony charges under Louisiana law.
