Emergency & Crisis

State behavioral health crisis system run by the Louisiana Department of Health. It coordinates Mobile Crisis Response teams that come to a person where they are, 24/7 walk-in Behavioral Health Crisis Centers, Community Brief Crisis Support for up to 15 days, and short-term Crisis Stabilization beds. In Region 9 (the Florida Parishes, including St. Tammany), Mobile Crisis Response and Community Brief Crisis Support are provided by Gulf Coast Teaching Family Services.
