STAR Transit (St. Tammany Area Demand Response System)

STAR Transit is a demand-response, curb-to-curb public transit system operated by St. Tammany Parish Government, serving the whole parish by reservation. Riders 60 and older ride free between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. with COAST registration, and half fares are available for riders with disabilities and Medicare cardholders. Nine park-and-ride locations operate across the parish.

Who it's for

Open to all parish residents. Reduced or free fares for seniors 60+ registered with COAST, riders with disabilities, Medicare cardholders and children; riders under 17 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.
