Adult Protective Services, within the Louisiana Department of Health's Office of Aging and Adult Services, investigates reports of abuse, neglect, exploitation and extortion of adults with disabilities. Reports are taken by phone 24 hours a day; physical or sexual abuse reports must be made by phone rather than online.

Who it's for
Adults ages 18-59 with a physical, mental or developmental disability who live in Louisiana and cannot protect themselves or manage their own affairs, plus qualifying emancipated minors.
