Louisiana hotels and attractions saw a solid rebound in visitor spending this summer.
Louisiana’s tourism office reported strong visitor numbers for the summer travel season, with hotel occupancy and attraction attendance both up compared to last year.
Officials credited a mix of statewide marketing campaigns and steady interest in the state’s coastal and cultural attractions.
“Visitors are rediscovering everything Louisiana has to offer, from the coast to the capital,” a tourism spokesperson said.
The full economic impact report is expected to be released later this fall.
