Covington Man Arrested on Multiple Child Sex Crime Charges

The Covington Police Department has arrested a 30-year-old man on multiple child-related sex crime charges, according to St. Tammany Parish jail records.

James Howard was booked on April 23, 2026. Records show charges including indecent behavior with a juvenile, indecent behavior or grooming of a child, child sexual abuse materials, and computer aided solicitation of a minor.

The listed bond for one charge shows $300,000 cash property surety. Additional bond information was not fully listed at the time records were viewed.
