Food Assistance

Monthly boxes of USDA commodity foods for low-income seniors. Louisiana operates CSFP distribution in every parish through food banks and local distribution sites. Certification forms are available at local food banks and distribution sites.

Who it's for
Age 60 or older with household income at or below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines. Automatic income eligibility for people on SNAP, SSI, FDPIR, Medicare Low Income Subsidy or a Medicare Savings Program. Bring proof of address, income and age to register.
