The St. Tammany Parenting Center offers parent-child activity classes, parenting education and coaching, infant and child CPR, Safe Sitter babysitter training, car seat inspections, breastfeeding support, and new parent boot camps. Disability Services

The school district's Child Search program screens children ages 3 to 6 who are not yet enrolled in school for possible needs in communication, motor, sensory, cognitive, social and self-help skills. The Preschool Early Intervention program serves children ages 3 to 5 identified with special education needs. The district also runs a free Pre-K program for income-qualifying four-year-olds.
