Parish government agency that takes applications for LIHEAP energy assistance, the CLECO CARE fuel discount, ATMOS Share the Warmth, and emergency rental and mortgage assistance funded by the Community Services Block Grant. Also handles Emergency Solutions Grant housing help, Child Care Assistance, FITAP and Kinship Care referrals, and refers weatherization applicants to Quad Area CAA. This is the local intake agency for LIHEAP in St. Tammany Parish.

Who it's for

Income guidelines set annually by the federal government, varying by household size. LIHEAP applicants must be responsible for the household energy bill, have an active heating or cooling account, and bring a utility bill no older than 30 days. One LIHEAP benefit per season.
