Employment Assistance

Free adult education classes preparing students for the HiSET high school equivalency exam, plus ESL/English language and civics instruction. St. Tammany class sites are the Slidell Regional Education Center at 1050 Gause Blvd., Slidell (day and evening classes); the NTCC Lacombe campus at 65556 Centerpoint Blvd., Lacombe (day and evening classes); and 521 W. 28th Ave., Covington (evening classes only). There is no cost to students for classes; students supply their own materials.

Who it's for

Adults needing a high school equivalency or English language instruction. A valid government-issued ID is required for placement testing. Students aged 16-17 need an approved waiver from their local school board.
