Emergency & Crisis

The Red Cross chapter serving the Greater New Orleans area including St. Tammany Parish. It provides emergency shelter, food, health services and emotional support after disasters such as house fires and hurricanes, plus home fire safety programs and services to military families. All disaster assistance, including food and shelter, is free.

Who it's for

Red Cross shelters are open to anyone in need. Pets are welcome and no identification is required.
