State program that helps low-income households pay heating and cooling bills, provides crisis bill payment assistance, and can help repair or replace heating and cooling equipment. Applications in St. Tammany Parish are taken locally by the St. Tammany Parish Community Action Agency during the agency's intake periods.

Who it's for

Household income under the annual limit (for 2026, $30,618 for one person and $58,882 for a household of four). Applicant must be responsible for the energy bill, have an active heating or cooling account, and provide a utility bill no older than 30 days. One benefit per season.
