Food Assistance

Distributes boxes of groceries to households that register and qualify. The primary staple box weighs about 30-35 pounds, with an additional smaller 'lagniappe' distribution. Also operates a resale shop at 830 N. Columbia Street in Covington.

Who it's for

Must show proof of residence with a physical address (no P.O. boxes), provide household member information, meet USDA income guidelines, and not be receiving food from another food pantry. The food bank does not publish a defined geographic service area; call to confirm before traveling.
