Employment Assistance

Short-term workforce training and industry certifications at a public community college. Course areas include OSHA compliance, first aid/CPR/AED, hazardous materials, MSHA mine safety training, computer and IT, healthcare, human resources, industrial maintenance, welding, contractor's licensing and customer service. The division also delivers customized on-site training for employers and partners on the state Incumbent Worker Training Program.

Who it's for

Open to adults. Most courses charge a fee; some employer-sponsored training is grant funded.
