Two Hospitalized After Elevator Falls On Carr Drive In Slidell

SLIDELL, La. Two people were hospitalized Sunday evening after an elevator reportedly fell with both occupants inside at a property off Carr Drive in Slidell.

Slidell Fire crews responded to the scene and found two patients requiring medical attention. Both were transported to area hospitals. One of the patients was airlifted by Ochsner Flight Care, indicating the need for a higher level of emergency treatment.

Officials have not released information on the conditions of either patient or said how far the elevator fell.
