I-10 Lane Closures Scheduled for Overnight Bridge Inspections

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced overnight lane closures on I-10 near the Twin Span Bridge for routine inspection work over the next two weeks.

Crews will close one lane in each direction between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. to minimize impact on daytime traffic.

“These inspections are routine, but we ask drivers to slow down and stay alert through the work zone,” a department spokesperson said.

Drivers are encouraged to check DOTD’s website for updates before traveling overnight during the inspection period.
