Georgia Police Supervisor Arrested For Allegedly Misusing Flock Camera System To Track Boyfriend
A Georgia police supervisor is facing criminal charges after investigators say she improperly used a law enforcement license plate reader system to monitor her boyfriend’s movements.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), 30-year-old Paige Forte, a supervisor assigned to the Conyers Police Department’s Real-Time Crime Center, was arrested following an investigation into the alleged misuse of the department’s Flock Safety automated license plate reader system.
Investigators say an internal audit discovered Forte accessed the system more than 30 times between April and July 2026 for reasons unrelated to any criminal investigation. Authorities allege the searches were conducted to track the movements of her domestic partner rather than for official law enforcement purposes.
After the activity was identified, the Conyers Police Department requested the GBI investigate. The investigation resulted in Forte being charged with misuse of a license plate reader system.
Flock Safety cameras are widely used by law enforcement agencies across the country to capture license plate information and help locate stolen vehicles, wanted suspects, missing persons, and vehicles connected to criminal investigations. Access to the system is intended to be limited to legitimate law enforcement purposes, and agencies routinely audit searches to detect potential misuse.
The case also comes as Georgia authorities continue investigating several other allegations involving the improper use of automated license plate reader technology by law enforcement personnel, highlighting growing scrutiny over how these powerful surveillance tools are monitored and safeguarded against abuse.
Forte was booked into the Rockdale County Jail, and the investigation remains ongoing. As with all criminal cases, the allegations have not been proven in court, and she is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
