Arrest Made in Slidell Retail Theft Investigation

Slidell Police announced an arrest this week in connection with a series of retail thefts reported at stores along Gause Boulevard over the past month.

Investigators used surveillance footage and license plate readers to identify a suspect, who was booked on multiple counts of theft.

“Good old-fashioned investigative work closed this case,” said a Slidell Police Department spokesperson.

The investigation remains open as police work to determine whether the suspect is connected to additional incidents.
