Slidell Farmers Market Returns to Griffith Park This Weekend

The Slidell Farmers Market returns to Griffith Park this Saturday for the start of its fall season, with organizers expecting more than 40 local vendors selling produce, baked goods and handmade crafts.

Market organizers say this season will feature an expanded live music lineup and a new area dedicated to local food trucks.

“We’ve seen this market grow every single year,” said market manager Todd Guillory. “It’s become a real gathering spot for the community on Saturday mornings.”

The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through November at Griffith Park.
