14 Year Old Girl Allegedly Kidnapped, Raped and Trafficked for Months; Seventh Arrest Made in Gulfport Case
GULFPORT, Miss. — A seventh person has now been arrested in a disturbing Gulfport human trafficking investigation involving a 14 year old girl who told investigators she was kidnapped, raped and trafficked by multiple adults over a period of roughly four months.
Gulfport Police say 38 year old Krystal Leann Householder of Gulfport was arrested Saturday and charged with one count of human trafficking and one count of felony contributing to the neglect of a child.
Her arrest is the latest development in an investigation that began earlier this year after the teenager was located by police.
According to an affidavit obtained by WLOX, the girl had been reported missing from Child Protective Services custody on September 29, 2025, near Highway 49.
Nearly four months later, on January 22, 2026, a Gulfport Police officer located her inside a room at the Red Roof Inn.
What investigators say happened during the months she was missing is horrifying.
The teenager told authorities that a group of adults had kidnapped, raped and trafficked her during that period.
The investigation initially resulted in six arrests in late January and early February.
Those arrested were Michael Eric Moses, 40; Bobby Terrell Mills, 49; Richard Sherrol Weir, 60; Marcus Alan Mann, 35; Jeffrey Devon Pruitt, 41; and Latasha Ann Smith, 27.
Mills faces some of the most serious allegations in the case, including human trafficking, kidnapping, extortion and forcible rape.
According to a previously reported affidavit, investigators allege Mills paid $40 for the 14-year-old girl after she was dropped off along 20th Street on January 6.
Police allege Mills exploited the girl’s status as a runaway to lure her into a nearby home. The affidavit alleges she was beaten with fists and a piece of cinder block, raped and threatened with death when she asked to leave.
Investigators said the teenager eventually escaped through a window. Authorities documented bruising to her face, arms and body as well as bite marks on her shoulder and neck, according to the affidavit.
Moses was charged with kidnapping. Weir, Mann, Pruitt and Smith were charged with human trafficking, while Mann also faces a kidnapping charge.
Householder’s arrest brings the total number of people arrested in connection with the investigation to seven.
The allegations described are charges and accusations. The defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
