Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Pickup Truck in Lacombe

LACOMBE, La. — November 3, 2026 — A man has died after being struck by a pickup truck while walking along a roadway in Lacombe, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office (STPSO).

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., deputies assigned to the STPSO Traffic Division, along with detectives from the Major Crimes Unit, responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Jackson Street near Cryer Street.

According to investigators, the man was walking along a dark stretch of Jackson Street when he was struck by an eastbound Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
