Vehicle Overturns on Sullivan Road, One Person Extricated

Emergency crews responded Monday to a single-vehicle crash on Sullivan Road after a vehicle left the roadway and overturned into a ditch.

According to St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1, firefighters arrived to find the vehicle resting on its side with one person trapped inside.

Crews worked to safely extricate the occupant before the patient was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

Photos from the scene show the vehicle overturned against a tree line as firefighters and emergency medical personnel worked to free the driver.

No additional information about the cause of the crash or the extent of the patient’s injuries has been released. The incident remains under investigation.
