St. Tammany Grand Jury Returns Indictments in Four Separate Child Sexual Abuse Cases
A St. Tammany Parish grand jury has indicted four men in separate cases involving allegations of child sexual abuse, according to the Office of District Attorney Collin Sims.
The indictments include charges of first-degree rape, sexual battery, possession of child sexual abuse material, and aggravated crime against nature. The alleged victims in each case were under the age of 13.
Those indicted are:
• Caleb Michael Rizan, 22, of Kentwood, on one count of first-degree rape and two counts of sexual battery.
• Louis Jaden Willis, 21, of Baton Rouge, on one count of first-degree rape and one count of sexual battery.
• Christopher Dale Newman, 31, of Madisonville, on one count of first-degree rape, one count of sexual battery, three counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, and one count of aggravated crime against nature.
• Jacob Tate McDonald, 22, of Violet, on one count of first-degree rape.
According to the district attorney’s office, the alleged offenses occurred between 2020 and 2025 in separate, unrelated investigations conducted by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The cases will now move to the 22nd Judicial District Court, where the defendants are expected to be arraigned.
An indictment is a formal accusation and is not a determination of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
