Traffic Alert: Fatal Crash Causes Major Delays on I-10 East Near Mississippi State Line

SLIDELL, La. — Louisiana State Police are investigating multiple crashes, including one fatal crash, that caused major traffic congestion early Friday morning on Interstate 10 East near the Mississippi state line.

According to authorities, the crashes happened near Mile Marker 270 and have led to heavy backups stretching through the area. Officials confirmed at least one person has died in the incident.

Drivers traveling toward Mississippi should expect significant delays and are encouraged to use caution or seek alternate routes if possible while emergency crews continue working the scene.
