Third Suspect Turns Himself In After Slidell McDonald’s Shooting

Syncere Givens, 19, has turned himself in, according to the Slidell Police Department, following the announcement of arrest warrants for suspects connected to a shooting at a Slidell McDonald’s.

Slidell Police had announced arrest warrants for Justin Barthelemy, 20, Eric Watson Jr., 17, and Givens, who were wanted on charges including Attempted First Degree Murder and other weapons-related offenses in connection with the shooting.

Police also confirmed that Nathan Johnson, 32, Kerry Major, 19, and Rashad Riddick, 19, were taken into custody in connection with the case.

Slidell Police warned that anyone found harboring, aiding, or helping the remaining fugitives avoid arrest could also be arrested and charged as an accessory after the fact to Attempted First Degree Murder. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the remaining wanted suspects was urged to contact 911 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
