Driver Arrested After Crash and Attempted Escape Ends in Second Wreck

A series of bad decisions led to a chaotic scene in Slidell, where a driver was taken into custody after causing multiple crashes.

Slidell Police Department says the incident began when the driver caused a crash. Instead of staying at the scene, the driver tried to leave, which quickly made things worse.

During the attempt to get away, the driver crashed again, this time into a commercial building. The impact caused heavy damage to the front of the business, with debris scattered throughout the area.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Police confirmed the driver was arrested and charged at the scene.
