BOLO: Authorities Searching for Silver Toyota Tacoma in Animal Cruelty Investigation

Washington Parish deputies are actively investigating a disturbing incident after a truck was reportedly seen dragging a dog along a roadway on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. on 7 Mile Road as the vehicle was traveling north toward Highway 436. Witnesses reported seeing the dog being dragged behind the truck, prompting an immediate response and ongoing investigation.

Authorities say the vehicle involved is believed to be a silver Toyota Tacoma. The truck does not have a visible license plate, making identification more difficult.
