Fire Reported at Shell Norco Facility in St. Charles Parish

ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. — Emergency crews responded Monday night to a fire at the Shell Norco facility in St. Charles Parish.

According to initial reports, on-site response teams and additional emergency personnel were handling the situation. Air monitoring by Shell and independent third-party providers reportedly had not detected any elevated levels at the time of the update.

Officials also stated there was no shelter-in-place advisory in effect, and no injuries had been reported.
