Louisiana Crime Blitz Leads to 26 Arrests, Drug Seizures, and Fugitive Roundup

A major multi-agency law enforcement operation in Louisiana resulted in dozens of arrests and multiple drug seizures during a recent targeted enforcement push.

According to officials, Louisiana State Police Troop F and the Criminal Investigations Division Monroe Field Office teamed up with sheriff’s offices in East Carroll, Madison, and Tensas parishes under the Joint Enforcement Taskforce, known as JET.

The operation focused on reducing violent crime, disrupting drug trafficking, and targeting illegal firearm possession.

Authorities say the enforcement effort led to 26 criminal arrests and 20 fugitive warrant arrests.

Troopers also conducted 133 traffic stops, issued 93 warnings, and handed out 11 traffic citations.

During the operation, agents reportedly seized:

Approximately 270 grams of marijuana

Approximately 34 grams of methamphetamine

Scheduled pills

One firearm

One vehicle allegedly used in drug trafficking

Officials say the JET initiative combines resources from multiple agencies to aggressively target criminal activity and improve public safety in high-priority areas.

Louisiana State Police also encouraged residents to report suspicious or criminal activity through official tip systems.
