Interstate 610 Reopens After Fire Shutdown in New Orleans

Traffic is moving again after Interstate 610 was shut down earlier today due to a fire beneath the overpass near Paris Avenue.

Officials temporarily closed both directions of the interstate while emergency crews responded and inspected the area for safety concerns.

The roadway has now reopened, and normal traffic flow is expected to resume. Drivers in the area may still experience minor delays as congestion clears.
