Baton Rouge Man Arrested Following Undercover Child Exploitation Investigation

A Baton Rouge man is behind bars after authorities say he was arrested during an undercover investigation targeting the online exploitation of children.

According to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, 33-year-old Evan Graves was taken into custody on Monday, June 29, following an operation conducted by investigators.

Authorities allege Graves used electronic communications to contact someone he believed to be a minor. The investigation was part of an undercover operation aimed at identifying individuals attempting to exploit children online.

Graves was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and is facing the following charges:

• Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor

• Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

Officials say protecting children from online predators remains a top priority and encourage parents to stay involved in their children’s online activities. They also urge anyone who suspects the online exploitation of a child to report it to law enforcement immediately.
