Chuck Branton has been reappointed to the St. Tammany Parish Library Board of Control following a vote by the St. Tammany Parish Council.

Branton, who currently serves as president of the Library Board of Control, has been involved during a period of heightened public attention surrounding library operations, board procedures, transparency, and the handling of materials within the parish library system.

Supporters of Branton praised his leadership, professionalism, and commitment to bringing structure and accountability to the board. Many credited his tenure with helping the Library Board operate in a more orderly and effective manner while reflecting the concerns of many families across St. Tammany Parish.
