A narcotics investigation targeting suspected crack cocaine distribution in the Slidell area has resulted in two arrests after St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives, assisted by the SWAT Team and Louisiana Probation and Parole, executed a search warrant at a home in the 60000 block of Short Lane.

According to investigators, 33-year-old Destin Miller was identified as the primary resident of the home. As deputies moved in to execute the warrant, 47-year-old Anthony Thompson allegedly ran from the residence into a nearby wooded area.
