Florida Suitcase Murder Case Gets Even More Disturbing

A shocking discovery in Palm Bay, Florida is raising serious questions after human remains found inside abandoned suitcases were identified as 28 year old Colie Lee Daniel.

Daniel, who was a registered sex offender, had been reported missing before his remains were found in a remote area locals call “The Compound.”

A 19 year old suspect, Lucas Sander Jones, was quickly identified after evidence from the scene led investigators back to him. Authorities say he allegedly admitted to killing and dismembering the victim before disposing of the remains.

Some reports and video coverage claim the suspect may have been targeting sex offenders and keeping traces of their DNA, though that specific detail has not been officially confirmed in court documents released so far.

The suspect is currently facing a murder charge and is being held without bond as the investigation continues.
