Truck Snaps Power Pole at Busy Slidell Intersection, Line Falls Onto Garbage Truck

A crash in Slidell caused a brief disruption after a large truck struck overhead lines near the intersection of Mary Street and Fremaux Avenue.

The hit brought down a utility pole, with the line landing directly on top of a garbage truck in the area. Emergency crews responded quickly, securing the scene while utility workers began handling the damaged equipment.
