Gator’s Fast Food Run Ends In Police Escort

A routine day in Pearl River took an unexpected turn when an alligator was spotted hanging around a local McDonald’s, prompting a response from the Pearl River Police Department.

According to police, Officer Carrigan was dispatched after reports of a gator lingering near the restaurant. Upon arrival, the officer located the reptilian visitor and safely secured the situation.

Fortunately for everyone involved, the alligator appeared to be more interested in passing through town than causing trouble. After being removed from the area, the animal was relocated to a more suitable environment.

The unusual encounter drew plenty of attention from onlookers and serves as a reminder that in Louisiana, wildlife sightings can happen just about anywhere, including your local drive-thru.

No injuries were reported during the incident, and the alligator’s brief stopover came to a peaceful conclusion.
