SLIDELL, La. — A student at Salmen High School has been arrested after allegedly making written threats inside a school bathroom, according to a message sent to families by Principal Liza Jacobs.
In the notification, Jacobs confirmed that school officials identified the student responsible for the threats and that law enforcement had taken the individual into custody.
“I want to make you aware of the fact that we have identified the student who was making written threats in our school bathroom,” Jacobs stated. “Law enforcement has arrested this individual, and the appropriate school disciplinary measures are being taken.”
Jacobs emphasized that school safety remains a top priority and warned that threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
“I take school safety very seriously and will not tolerate this type of behavior at Salmen,” Jacobs wrote.
The principal also urged parents to speak with their children about the seriousness of making threats, even when intended as jokes, warning that such actions can carry significant consequences.

It remains unclear whether this latest incident is connected to those earlier reports.
School officials have not disclosed the student’s identity, the specific nature of the written threats, or the charges associated with the arrest.
