One Injured In Residential Structure Fire Off Hoover Drive In Slidell

Slidell fire crews are on the scene of a residential structure fire off Hoover Drive.

St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1 said the street is temporarily blocked by fire apparatus and supply lines. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

One injury has been reported. The patient is being transported for treatment. The extent of the person’s injuries has not been released.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
