A man and woman from Mississippi were arrested by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office on February 27, 2026, and are currently being held at the Lenoir Rowell Criminal Justice Center in connection with a serious child exploitation case involving multiple felony charges.
According to jail records, 29-year-old Joshua David McBride is facing charges that include unlawful sexual penetration with a child under 14, exploitation of children, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. All charges are listed as pending.
Also arrested in the case was 27-year-old Mary Elizabeth Dillard. Jail records show she is charged with touching a child for lustful purposes, molesting exploitation of children, and controlled substance violations. Those charges are also listed as pending.
Both remain in custody as the case moves through the court system.
All persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
