Louisiana Task Force Makes Arrests in Shreveport Online Predator Operation

A coordinated operation targeting online predators in North Louisiana has led to multiple arrests, with more expected.
According to the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General, the Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force recently partnered with the Shreveport Police Department for a joint training and enforcement operation focused on identifying individuals attempting to exploit children online.
The operation also included support from multiple agencies across the state, including the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and several local police departments.
Authorities say the results so far include three arrests, with charges involving indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer solicitation of a minor. Additional suspects have been identified, with more arrests expected.
Officials say the operation highlights growing coordination between agencies to track and stop offenders who use the internet to target children.
Attorney General Jeff Landry’s office emphasized that these types of coordinated efforts are becoming more common as technology-related crimes continue to rise.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
