Early Morning Fire Breaks Out At The Landing In Slidell

SLIDELL, La. — Firefighters responded to an early morning fire at The Landing in Slidell on Sunday.

According to St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1, crews were dispatched at approximately 5:00 a.m. after a fire broke out on the business’s back deck and patio area.

Fire officials said the blaze appears to have been electrical in nature. Crews arrived on scene at approximately 5:06 a.m. and were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported.

Photos from the scene show fire damage to portions of the covered outdoor patio area.

The exact extent of the damage has not yet been announced.
