Community Events Happening in Slidell This Weekend

Slidell has several community events planned this weekend.

The Hugs4Kids Pediatric Patient Fashion Show will be held at the Slidell Municipal Auditorium, with doors opening at 3 p.m. for hair, makeup and nails and the fashion show beginning at 6 p.m.

NOLA Smoke will be held at NOLA Southern Grill, offering ribs, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, wings, and homemade sauces while supplies last.

Flight of the Flags will take place at the Slidell Airport, 62517 Airport Road, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., honoring veterans, police, firefighters, and first responders with patriotic flag flights, food, and community activities.
